CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />ARCHITECTURAL BOARD OF REVIEW <br />14INUTES - JULY 18, 1990 <br />I. ROLL CALL: <br />Acting Chairman Zergott called the meeting to order at 5:35 p.m. <br />Present: Y. SoYm and B. Zergott <br />Absent: M. Case and T. Gallagher <br />Also Present: Building Commissioner Conway and Clerk of Commissions <br />Oring. <br />II. REVIEW AND CORRECTION OF MINUTES: <br />B. Zergott moved to approve the May 16, 1990 as presented, seconded by Y. <br />Sohn, and unanimously approved. <br />III. SIGNS: <br />1) Park Ridge Civic Association Location Signs. <br />Proposal to install two (2) street location "map" signs, one at the Lorain <br />Road Entrance, and the other at the Windsor Drive entrance. <br />Referred by Planning Commission July 10, 1990. <br />Proposal was withclrawn by the association imtil the next meeting. <br />VI. OLD BUSINESS: <br />No items. <br />V. NEW BUSINESS: <br />1) Reserve Electrical Construction, 30692 Lorain Road <br />Proposal to construct storage building for existing office building. <br />Referred by Planning Commission July 10, 1990. <br />Mr. Burk, owner, presented plans and explained that they were constructing <br />a 2,000 square foot building to store some of their smaller equipment. <br />The larger items are delivered directly to the job site. The building <br />(2 pre-fab kits from 84 Lumber) will be located about 100 feet behind the <br />PXjsting office building and will be sided in a T-111, stained Pacific <br />Gray Mist (033). He presented pictures of the office building and <br />explained to Mr. Sohn that he purposely chose a darker gray for the <br />storage building instead of the blue-gray that is on the office building <br />since he believed the darker gray would blend iin more with the trees in <br />the rear of the property. The roof shingles will probably match the <br />building in the front. Mr. Sohn suggested that a light gray shingle would <br />be preferable. Mr. Burk agreed and will present a sample to the Building <br />Department. In reference to the landscaping plan, Building Comnissioner <br />Conway explained that the Planning Commission had requested that he <br />1
