4. Fred Korey, 3292 Clague Road. <br />Request for variance (1123.12). Request 6 foot 6 inch front setback variance to <br />construct roof over existing porch. Violation of Ord. 87-93, Section 1135.08(a). <br />Chairman 3ugala called all interested garties before the Board. The oath was <br />administered to Mr. Frye, contractor, and Mr. Korey. The members had no problem <br />with this request. T. Restifo moved to grant Fred Korey at 3292 Clague Road a 6 <br />foot 6 inch front set back variance to construct a roof over an existing porch, <br />seconded by J. Helon, and Lmanimously approved. Variance granted. <br />5. James L. Rowbottom, 28723 Tudor Drive. <br />Request for variance (1123.12). Request 44 square foot variance for tool shed. <br />Violation of Ord. 87-93, Section 1135.02(d). <br />Chairman Bugala called all interested parties before the Board. The oath was <br />administered to Mr.Rowbottom who explained that the shed is 12 foot by 12 foot. The <br />location and height are conforming. Mr. Bugala explained that the proposed codes <br />would all this size shed. R. Gomersall moved that the request for a 44 square foot <br />variance for a tool shed be granted for James Rowbottom at 28723 Tudor Drive, <br />seconded by J. Helon, and unanimously approved. Variance granted. <br />6• Joan Puinno, 27181 Glouchester Drive <br />Request for variance (1123.12). Request location variance foz too shed. Violation <br />of Ord. 87-93, Section 1135.03(d. - <br />Chairman Bugala called all interested pa.rties before the Board. The oath was <br />administered to Mrs. Puinno, Ms Gembarski, her daughter, and neighbors, Mr. and Mrs. <br />Garber and Mr. Dufala. Mrs. Puinno explained that she was tmaware that a permit was <br />needed for the shed until an inspector came to check her fence. She explained that <br />the since the lower level of her house floods she has been storing her furniture in <br />the garage and needs additional storage room. She prefers not to put the shed in <br />the rear because the back of her lot is frequently imder water. Also the students <br />from the high school gather behind her property. Mr. and Mrs.'Gerber lived adjacent <br />to the side where the shed is located and have no problem with it. Mr. Dufala, who <br />lives across the street, stated that the shed is not visible. Mre Bugala was <br />concerned that maintenance could be a problem since the. shed is only 2 feet away <br />from the fence. Mrs. Puinno stated that the fence was watersealed and the shed will <br />be pa.inted to.match the house. She further explained that the fence will be <br />continued across the front of the shed and only 2 feet of it will be seen. Mr. <br />Gomersall stated that since the neighbors were not objecting, he had no problem. R. <br />Gomersall moved to grant the variance to Joan Puinno at 27181 Glouchester Drive for <br />a location variance for a tool shed, seconded by T. Restifo. Roll call on motion: <br />Gomersall, Restifo, and Helon, yes. Mr. Bugala, no. Motion carried. Variance <br />granted. <br />Mr. Bugala advised that he had received a letter from Mr. Groh, the president of <br />Brilliant Electric Signs, requesting a rehearing of the Trans Ohio pole sign, the? <br />location of which had been denied previously. It was decided that a letter will be <br />sent to him advising this will be reheard at the next meeting. <br />The meeting was adjourned at 8:00 p.m. <br />5 <br />2
