B. Grace moved to grant the request for a 95 square foot <br />variance to add to wall sign for Gentry's Men's Clothing, 5138 Great Northern <br />Plaza South, seconded by T. Request 3 foot variance for distance between <br />proposed attached garage and garage on adjacent property. The oath was <br />administered to Mr. Ruscin who would like to build a 3 car, two story attached <br />garage, the first phase of his plans to add a second story to the front part of <br />his homeo Building Coirunissioner Conway advised that this would be the same as a <br />colonial home with a bedroom over an attached garage. He further explained that <br />this structure is completely within the codes, but the neighbor's garage is too <br />close. J. Maloney moved to grant to Richaxd A. Ruscin, 4057 Clague Road, the <br />request for a 3 foot variance for distance between proposed attached garage and <br />garage on adjacent property, seconded by E. Gallagher, and unanimously approved. <br />Variance granted. <br />8. Michael Nerone, 5184 Berkshire Drive. <br />Request for variance (1123.12). Request 84 square foot variance for tool <br />shed (amount which exceeds 2% of rear yard area). Violation of Ord. 90-125, <br />Section 1135.02(d)l. (Existing shed to be removed.) <br />Chairman Gomersali called all interested parties before the Board. The oath was <br />administered to Mr. and Mrs. Nerone. It was clarified that a 76 square foot <br />variance was requested, and an 84 square foot shed would be allowed. The members <br />had no questions. T. Restifo moved to grant the request of Michael Nerone, 5184 <br />Berkshire Drive, for a 76 square foot variance for a tool shed, the amount which <br />exceeds 2% of the rear yard with the condition that the existing shed be removed, <br />seconded by B. Grace, and unanimously approved. Variance granted. <br />9. Michael A. Mandilakis, 6773 Warrington Drive. <br />Request for variance (1123.12). Request variance to convert existing garage <br />into living area and eliminate existing garage. Violation of Ord. 90-125, <br />Section 1161°08. Also request 17 foot 4 inch front set back variance to <br />construct carport. Violation of Ord. 90-125, Section 1135°06. Also request 2 <br />foot total side yard variances for existi.ng addition to present garage (no <br />permit). Violation of Ord. 90-125, Section 1135.07 (a)a <br />This proposal was withdrawn by the applicant tmtil a later date. <br />Mr. Gallagher cannot be present at the next meeting and asked if the date could <br />be changed.
