Engineering Department for their input, to the Safety Department to review the
proposal in respect to the traffic, the proposed traffic light, the cost of which
will be borne by the developers, and any hydrants that may be required; also
forward it to the Service Department for the proposed dedication of Moen Drivee
That the developers present the lot assembly at the next meeting, seconded by A.
Skoulis, and unanimously approved. During the motion the members discussed the
type of signs: the office park signs, the sign at the top of the building which
is proposed to be a white, backlit translucent sign, and questioned the
suitability of that type of sign. The developers stated that it would be
acceptable to the owners to use individual backlit letters instead of what is
proposed. They will present both options to the A.R.B. They also advised that the
development sign for the entire office park will be located in the island at the
entrance and will only identify the office park, but no name has been decided on
as yet, this sign as well as the Moen ground sign will be ground lit; and the
signs on parcel "A" wi11 be consistent. Mr. Conway suggested that they present
the graphics to the A.R.B. Mr. Gorris also requested that the Building Department
check on the sizes of other signs in the area, iae., the Pierre Radisson and
Hampton Hotels. It was clar.ified that the traffic light which is to be installed
can be coordinated with the State funded program for traffic signals if they use
the same type of controller. The residents in attendance were advised that this
would be heard at the Architectural Review Board which has been tentatively
scheduled for April 29th. The proposal would then return to Planning Commission
some time in May, no further notices will be sent, and if they wish to attend
they should contact City Hall.
IV.
