Building Commissioner Conway had a minor change for the Dragon Royal.Restaurant
who would like to install a C.E.I. security light in the back of the parking lot.
Since there is one lot that was rezoned between the restaurant and the first
residential property there would be approximately 50 feet from the light to the
residential back yards of two properties. The members noted that these are
shallow lots and the light could cause a problem. PZr. Gorris explained to the new
members that there was a lot behind the restaurant and beside the home facing
Silverdale which the Commission did rezone to General Retail with several
restrictions so that no building could be constructed on the property. Mr.
Orlowski suggested that Mr. Conway talk to them and try to get a different type
light with less wattage which could be shielded and directed to the restaurant so
it did not shine into the neighbor's property. Mr. Miller has had some complaints
from the first resident facing Canterbury who was concerned about the maintenance
of this lot. Mr. Conway stated that she has contacted his department once, but
she may have contacted the Service Department at other times. She could call
either department for help.
VI. Gorris moved to excuse the absence of Mr. Tallon and Mr. Thomas, seconded by
L. Orlowski, and unanimously approved.
The meeting was adjourned at 8:25 p.m.
?
B. Gorris,
B. Oring;
3
