VIII
IX.
X.
At 24532 Lorain Road, the building east of Sunoco at Columbia and Lorain, is requesting to add
a 3 foot 8 inch lugh panel, a raised facade of T-111, in order to install 2 signs for the tenants,
one for Cell-Net, a cellular phone company and for another tenant. They will need variances to
install any sign. The members would like the Arclutectural Review Board to look at it.
Issabella Cafe, ou Great Northern Boulevard adjacent to the Shell Station, is requesting outdoor
seating on the north side of the building. Mr. Conway stated that there would still be room for the
drive, north of it. Mr. Gorris is concerned about people diYVing through tlus area. The members
suggested some plauters, or some type of fencing, to separate the drive from the outdoor seating.
N1EW BUSINESS:
Chairmau Gonis advised that August will be a vacation mouth as has beeu the uormal practice.
OLD BUSINESS:
Ord. 94-95. It was decided to continue this until the next meeting since council will not be back
from vacation until after that. Mr. Orlowski has looked into other senior citizen buildings and he a
noted that they had a 17 efficiency suites and 53 one bedroom suites, however the older
Kvickerbocker has 97 efficiencies and 69 one bedrooms. Since this ordinance only addresses one
and two bedroom units, he thought that the commission should consider efficiencies. Mr. Tallon
noted that not ovly were efficiencies less expensive, they were easier to maintain. This will be
discussed at the next meeting.
ADJOURNMENT:
B. Gorris moved to excuse the absence of D. Alston and K. O'Rourke, seconded by P. Miller,
and unanimously approved.
The meeting was adjourned at 9:45 p.m.
?
a..?? (:21
B. Gorris, Chairman
B. Oring, Clerk of
8
