Chainnan Burk admiuistered the oath to Mr. and Mrs. Wamack who explained that the window
size had been questioned during the final inspection of the addition. It was clarified that just 2
windows in one bedroom did not comply. Mrs. Warnack stated that she could step out of the
window onto the ledge. This room is for the children and, if there were a fire in the stairwell, a
child in that room could go into another bedroom if necessary. Mr. Conway clarified that the
contractor was willing to change the windows, but since the room was finished, they decided that
they would try to get a variance. The members agreed that this was not really a+safety hazard. P.
Engoglia moved to accept the windows the way they were installed for Ralph Warnack, 26350
Butternut Ridge Road, seconded by J. Kazak, and unanimously approved.
