CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED BOARD OF BUII.DING CODE APPEALS MINUTES - J[TLY 27, 1995 SPECIAL MEETING - 6:00 P.M 1. ROLL CALL: Chairmau Burk called the meeting to order at 6:04 p.m. Present: P. Engoglia, J. Kazak, W. Piar, D. Spoerke, and R. Burk. Also Present: Clerk of Commissions Oring. II. REVIEW AND CORRECTIONS OF MIlNUTES: The minntes will be reviewed at the next regularly scheduled meeting. III. COMMUNICATIONS: No items. N. HEARINGS: No items. V. NEW BUSINESS: Heard at the end of the meeting. 1. OLD BU5INESS: Stephen & Darlene DiMaria (Energy Wise Construction, Inc.), property located on permanent parcel number 237-16-029, Grace Road. Request determination pursuant to Building Code Section 1315.04(c) if any material (to be explained) as a method of construction may be used even though not specifically authorized by the building code. Continued from meeting of July 13, 1995. Site inspection to be made by members. Chairman Burk advised that this was a continuation of the previous meeting regarding the DiMaria request for an approval of a method of construction not authorized by the building code. The members had viewed a completed basement. P. Engoglia moved to accept the request of Stepehn & Darlene DiMaria (Energy Wise Construction, Inc.) property located on perma.nent parcelnumber 237-16-029, Grace Road, to Request determination pursuant to Building Code Section 1315.04(c) if any material (to be explained) as a method of construction may be used even though not specifically authorized by the building code. Continued from meeting of July 13, 1995. The motion was seconded by by J. Kazak, and unanimously approved. V. NEW BUSINESS: At the end of the meeting, Mr. Burk brought up the issue of notification when a resident is appealing a citation based on the Property Maintenance Code. The code requires notifying all residents within a 500 foot radius. One of the building inspectors had shown on a map of a city
