south of Lorain Road, which is the site of the existing Christ the King Church and proposed addition.
The combined parcel site is "split zoned" (Retail Business, General and A-Residence, Single) and the
proposal with the exception of required frontage for lot split parcels 234-12-22 and 23 (which front on
Barton Road), conforms to Zoning Code requirements for area and frontage.
Mr. Robinson, consultant, and Mr. Schlegelmilch, a representative of the chtuch explained that they
had presented building plans previously, and were returning with the lot split and consolidation. Mr.
Robinson explained that when they obtained property previously for additions, it had never been
consolidated and they were trying to clear up everytUing at this time. He explained that the lots were
split zoned partially General Retail and partially Residential and they would like to have it all the same
zoning, if possible. They have purchased some triangular portions of the rear of two Barton Road lots
and have an option for right of first refusal on the balance of those lots. The ditch is partially on their
property and they have offered to clean their portion, but the other adjacent owners will have to grant
easements. It was clarified that the General Retail property was 500 feet deep from Lorain Road. The
members discussed the zoning among themselves. Chau7nan Tallon advised that he would like to refer
this to the Law Department since he would like to know the rainification of rezoning the entire area to
General Retail since some of this property is in a Single Family, Residential area. R. Tallon moved to
refer to Christ The King proposal to the Law Department for recommendation on the consolidation
plat, and it will be put on the next agenda after the recommendations have been made. The motion was
seconded by K O'Rourke, and unauimously approved.
V. COMMCTNICATIONS:
No items.
VI.
