The clerk verified, according to her notes, they are <br />recommending that engineering come up with a plan addressing the drainage problem, as this <br />proposal does not adequately address the drainage going to the neighboring properties and to the <br />street. Mr. Burk clarified the proposal creates a hardslup on surrounding properties. The board <br />would like engiueering to verify where the water is going after it leaves this lot. Couucilman <br />Nasher agreed to talk with Seivice Director Bohhnann and get suggestions ou how to solve this <br />problem without causiug any more flooding. Mr. Kazak wondered if there could be au auswer Uy <br />the next meetiug. Mr. Dunlap noted he is on the board of zoning appeals agenda for April 2. <br />Assistant Building Commissioner Rymarczyk coufirmed tlus proposal has been withdrawn from <br />the Apri12 agenda because of lack of iuformation. He elaborated the building department has not <br />yet received elevations and cauuot accurately determine the variances without them. The clerk <br />confii7ned legal notices would have to be sent out today. Mr. Kazak preferred to have this <br />resolved by the April meetiug. The clerk advised the residents that the notification procedure for <br />board of zoniug appeals is more limited thau tlus board. Board of zouing appeals requires <br />notification on either side of the proposal, as well as the properties directly belund aud across the <br />street from those tluee properties. The clerk noted although the notification list is more limited <br />everyone is welcome to come to a public hearing. Mr. Rymarczyk told Mr. Dunlap, the building <br />department ueeds all the information iu at least two weeks prior to the meetiug date. Mr. Dtwlap <br />verified the proposed dwelling would be shnilar to one ou Decker Road. In response to Mr. <br />Miller's questiou, Mr. Dunlap guessed the location to be 5975 Decker Road. Mr. Kazak believed <br />tlus reteution would be acceptable, provided the water went somewliere. He reiterated the city <br />should do something to reinove this water. <br />V.
