Bugala moved to grant the requested <br />10` rear yard variance for the greenhouse, the 9' variance for the distance be- <br />tween the addition and detached garage, and also the special permit to add to <br />a non-conforming dwelling, seconded by R. Request 44 sq. ft. variance and 1.5 ft height <br />variance for shed. Violation of Ord. 62-33, Section 1151.04-D. (Location <br />variance was granted October 1, 1986 - size variance reduced from variance <br />denied on the same date). <br />Chai rman Remmel called.all interested parties before the Board. The oath was <br />administered to Mr. Mandilakis. Chairman Remmel stated that he has a problem <br />with tlie one and a half foot height variance. Mr. Grace stated that he had. <br />seen the kit and there would be a problem cutting down the door. C. Remmel <br />moved to grant the request for a 44 square foot variance, seconded by R. <br />Gomersall, and unanimously approved. C. Remmel moved to grant the 1.5' height <br />variance for this shed, seconded by B. Grace. Roll call on motion: Remmel, <br />Gomersall, and Bugala, no. Grace, yes. Motion failed to pass. Variance <br />denied. Mr. Mandilakis questioned if a 6 inch height variance would be accept- <br />able. Board prefer that he meets the height code. <br />4. Alexander T. Muzie, 29780 Broxbourne Rd. <br />Request for variance (1133.13). Request 2,400 square foot variance for shed. <br />Violation of Ord. 62-33, Section 1151.04-D: (Variance denied October 1, 1986 - <br />this is a reduced request.) <br />Chairman Remmel called all interested parties before the Board. The oath was <br />administered to Mr. Muzie, Mr..?-l;f?iis attorney, and neighbors, Mrs. Walters, <br />Mrs. Risko, and Mr. and Mrs. Traczyk. Shed is proposed for the same location <br />as previously requested and size is reduced by only 371 square feet. Law <br />Director Gareau stated that this is virtually the same request and any appeal <br />should be made to the Court of Appeals. Adjacent neighbors pointed out the <br />location of their homes in relation to the proposed shed which is behind <br />their property. Mrf,?? presented statement from some neighbors, including <br />Mrs. Walters, that t?i.ey have no objection to the.proposal. Mr. Gomersall <br />questioned why shed could not'b'e located behind Mr. Muzie's house and garden <br />relocated behind the neighbors` property. Mr. Muzie stated that it would be <br />difficult to plant a garden at that location since the deb ris from the burned <br />out barn was plowed into the ground.
