All of the houses <br />on Lorain Road are in commercially zoned areas. The <br />Homeowner of a Lorain road property should be contacted <br />in order to find out if he/she plans to keep up the <br />house or if they plan to sell the property and then <br />let the homes be demolished. <br />Slides and photographs will be arranged by <br />Betty Lord for the L.C.'s viewing in order to help in <br />the selection process. A"Tour" of the city will also <br />be conducted in order to evaluate the current condition <br />of the homes. <br />OTHER OLD BUSINESS <br />Flaaner house <br />According to Sam Spino, the N.O. Building <br />Commissioner and according to Mayor Petrigac, the owners <br />of the Flagner house have until December 31st, 1986 <br />to bring the wiring and plumbing up to code. The Mayor <br />and Mr. Spino have keys to the house and are going <br />to make "spot" checks. If the Flagners proceed with <br />work on the home, the house will not be demolished. <br />Carpenter house <br />The deed work came through this week and the <br />Historical Society has 9 months to move the house. <br />Town Hall Roof <br />Don Copeland has made contact with Mr. Cerney <br />and they have gone over a list of priorities for Com- <br />munity developmenta The Town Hall priorities are: <br />1) a new roof <br />2) a new furnace <br />3) asbestos removal <br />Don Copeland saw no problem in getting all <br />three of these projects completed. <br />-5-
