The color choice is a blue sign with white letters.
The cost for. about 11 such signs would be approximately $321.00.
(see attached l?et:ter=:G'raig Gorush)::,_' . The cost of these signs would
have to come out of the 1987 Budget.
NEW BUSINESS
PLAQUING OF HOMES More research must be done in order to qualify
homes for plaquing. The current
condition of the home would give an_indication as to the intention
of the owner. Some examples of Historic homes that have not been
"kept up",,but :have histor.ic :significance are the SALISBURY HOME
and the ALVA'.STEARNS HOME.
FUTURE HISTORIC DISTRICTS It was suggested that the N.O:_L.C.
look into potential Historic Districts. Examples of such future
cite designations ar.e;: COE CORNERS, FROSTVILLE and the Barton Road
area.
1987 BUDGET It was generaly agreed taht the bulk of the 1987
Budget should be used to pay for the cost of the Butternut_:Road
historic District signs, both?the wooden signs and the metal street
signs
BEETY LORD made the following Motion:
That the 1987 N.,p,L.c, budget request made to city Council
should be.as follows (CONTINUED ON NEXT PAGE)
-2-
