This <br />study ctetezzni.n,ed that during the peak hour (2:00 to 3: 00 p.m. ), the Plaza <br />utilized about 70% of the total parking available to in and the Mall used <br />less than 86% of the available spaces. It was concluded that during these' <br />peak, times there is adequate parking, however spaces might not be available <br />i`mmedi:atel-y in front of where people want to shop. The westerly end of the <br />P1aza, is more heavily parked than the easterly end. <br />VI. NEW BUSINESS: <br />Chairman Burns would like to establish a committee to attemnt to devel-op <br />some ideas regarding guidelines9 zoning changes, and zoning code changes. <br />He would Iike to have the Law Department research this to determine if, <br />under the Charter, such changes would be within the Commission's juris- <br />diction. This had been attempted before but did not meet with success <br />mainly Tiecause the Committee needed assistance with a professional plan- <br />ning group. .
