? BOARD OF ZONING APPEALS MARCH 6, 1985 PAGE 2 oath was administered to Mr. Berichon of First Federal Savings and Loan of Lakewood and G. Harris of Wagner Sign Co. who explained that sign is ex- isting from previous tenant and they only want to change the faces. The sign overhangs the sidewalk. Mr. Bugala pointed out that the ordinance was changed so that existing signs would be changed to conform to the code when ownership of the business changed. E. Graves moved to grant the request a 47 sq. ft. variance for total sign area and a location variance, seconded by R. Bugala. Roll call on motion: Graves, Bugala, Gomersall, and Helon, Nay. Iqotion failed to pass. Variance denied. 4. Andrea`s Restaurant, 23135 Lorain Rd. Request for variance (1133.13). Request location variance to use existing pole sign. Violation of Ord. 62-33, Section 1221.06-F4. Vice Chairman Graves called all interested parties before the Board. The oath was administered to J. Kilroy, a neighbor, and J. Briola of North Coast signs who explained that sign is not over sidewalk but is not 3' from right of way. He stated that there was no room to set sign back at point where now located. Mr. Kilroy has no objection to sign. Board suggested that there would be room on the west end of the property to place sign . legally or he could move it back and raise above overhang of roof. R. Bugala moved to grant the location variance for the pole sign for Andrea's Restaurant, seconded by E. Graves. Roll call on motion: Bugala, Gomersall, Graves, and Helon, Nay. Motion failed to pass. Variance denied. J. Helon moved to approve the Minutes of February 6, 1985 as presented, seconded by R. Bugala, and unanimously approved. R. Bugala moved to excuse the absence of C.
