<br />MINUTES OF LANDMARKS CCMMISSION <br />APRIL 18, 1985 <br />Present: Chairman Betty Lord, Vice Chairman Robert Parry, Sharon <br />Fleming, Yvonne Tetrigac, Lois Van Auken, Julia Brown <br />Meeting was called to order by Chairman Betty Lord at 8:10 p.m. <br />REVIEW OF MINUTES: Minutes of March 21, 1985 meeting were approved with <br />one correction: the $14,000 for the wiring of the Community Cabin is <br />C.D.b•G• money. <br />Motion was made by Lois Van Auken that the minutes of the March 21, 1985 <br />minutes be approved as corrected, seconded by Yvonne Petrigac and <br />unarLimously agproved. <br />CORRESP^NDENCE: Guidelines for CLG and an application were received. <br />Betty Lord would like all members to review the information for <br />discussion. <br />Letter from Nr. Serne to the Mayor regarding the Town Fall renovUtions, <br />including waterproofing and roofing. . <br />Letter was sent to Mre Boyle regarding Leslie Trew;s employment and <br />metYiod of payment. <br />Letter from Mr. Couts regarding May 18, 1985 'Clean <br />day. Betty Lord suEgested we undertake the frort of <br />II'e v,rill plant flowers in the two flower beds and ma <br />tiharon Fleming will call Mr. Couts and let him know <br />ting by taking care of the front of Old Town Hall. <br />Resume from Michale Patton for vacancy on Landmarks <br />has approved his resume. <br />up North Olmsted' <br />Old Town Pall. <br />intain the beds. <br />urewill be participa- <br />Commission. Council <br />Received a call from Mro Robert Carmichael inquiring about the home at <br />27137 Butternut Ridge 'Road. He would like any historical information <br />on the horne. Sharlin Fleming will call him with information. <br />Don Copeland advised that-the bidding for the Town Hall renovations "v?ill <br />be coming up. <br />T'IFTCRIC DISTRICTING: Landmarks ordi;nance states that we may designate <br />a historic.; district. Under riational Register:guidelines we may. qualify <br />for multiple resource districte Pules i-,iust',,be,'`:s.et up to;,better define a <br />district. Sha.ron Fleming and Gloria Sell will `meet ,and try to set up <br />some standards. - - .' - ,_ - <br />PLAQUE PRESENTATION: May 6, 1985 is the date for-'the ;presentat;i.on. of ., <br />plaques to Butternut Ridge Road residents. Julia Brown :wil.l .:take care <br />of getting the Nlaques ready, Lois Van Auken will inform the press, <br />Robert Farry will work on an invitation; with special invitations going <br />to the homeowners, the Mayor, and members of council. <br />PROJECT REPCRTS: Frogress.reports for February, 1985., and also April, <br />or le rant are fi nished.
