? <br />CITY OF NORTH OLP4STED <br />BOARD OF BUILDING CODE APPEALS <br />MINUTES - MAY 23, 1985 <br />I. ROLL CALL: <br />Chairman Schulz called the meeting to order at 7:45 p.m. <br />Present: J. Kazak, R. Puzzitiello, and B. Schulz. <br />Absent: R. Burk and J. Patton <br />Also Present: Building Commissioner E. Gundy and Recording Secretary <br />B. Oring. <br />II. REVIEW AND CORRECTION OF MINUTES: <br />The Minutes of November 29, 1984 were approved as read. <br />III. NEW BUSINESS: <br />lj John Shannon, 4142 Ashton Circle <br />Request permission to build house on permanent parcel #231-05-054 <br />Clifford Dr. (property located between 23564 and 23538 Clifford Dr.) <br />(C. District, minimum lot 60` frontage). Hearing required by Ord. <br />2806 (any house being built on a lot with a 50' front width or less, <br />requires the approval of the Board of Building Code Appeals). <br />Secretary J. Kazak read the request. Mr. J. Shannon and Mrs. Madison, <br />representing her son who is a neighbor, were sworn in. Mr. Shannon <br />explained that the original application and site plan was for a 3 bed- <br />room ranch home. He is now planning to build a bungalow and only had <br />a picture of a home which is similiar to what he is proposing. He <br />has no plans and site plan that was presented is not applicable now. <br />Board cannot approve proposal without definite plans. B. Schulz moved <br />to continue the John Shannon request until plans can be submitted, <br />seconded by J. Kazak, and unanimously approved. Mrs. Madison was <br />advised that neighbors would be notified again. <br />Election of officers: <br />Chairman Schulz stated that he had been chairman for a long time, and <br />he would like to step down to give someone else the opportunity to <br />serve. <br />R. Puzzitiello nominated J. Kazak as Chairman, seconded by R. Schulz. <br />Mr. Kazak was elected Chairman unanimously. <br />B.. Schulz nominated R. Puzzitiello as Vice Chairman, seconded by J. Kazak. <br />Mr. Puzzitiello was elected Vice Chairman unanimously. <br />J. Kazak moved to nominate J. Patton as Secretary, seconded by R. <br />Puzzitiello. Mr. Patton was elected Secretary unanimously.
