NIINUTES OF' LANDMARKS CONiMISSION <br />r'IEETING OF PIARCH 15, 1984 <br />Present: Chairman Betty Lord, Marlene Orzechotivski, Yvonne Petrigac, Robert <br />Hunter, Gloria Sell, Lois Van Auken, Julia Brown <br />Also present: Niayor Robert W. Swietyniowski, Don Copeland and Dale Serne <br />Meeting was called to order by Chairman Betty Lord at 8:00 p.fil. First <br />on the agenda was Don Copeland who went into the matter of CDBG funds, advis- <br />there was $24,366 on credit at this time. Public Hearing will be Thursday, <br />April 5, 1984, 7:30 p.m. at the Senior Center for FY 1984 funds amounting <br />to $75,897. <br />General discussion followed regarding application for FY 1984 CDBG <br />funds. The following a;reed upon: <br />Package A-$12,2U0 (Limited replace;nent and repair of masonry including <br />dangerous condition of chimney $4,000 = b•Jood eave <br />(Emergency) repair $2200 - Roof & flashing repair $4500 & gutter <br />& downspout repair $1500) , <br />Package B - $ 9,800 (Repair of sash, doors &-rroodframes$2800 - Cupola <br />(Necessary) repair $1500 - Painting of wood surfaces $5500) <br />Package C - $ 9,500 (Cleaning of masonry $4,000 - Remove f ront step <br />Completion) masonry side walls, install original type iron <br />rails $4000 - Stone step repair & replacement $1500) <br />Prospective members to the Landmarks Commission were discussed. Robert <br />Parry is very interested and Mayor Swietyniowski advised. Mr. Parry will <br />be requested to submit a resume for consideration. Others interested <br />were Dwayne.Woerpel, Norm Baxter and Dewey Limpert. <br />Betty Lord reported Ordinance 83-96 will be on third reading at the next <br />council meeting - major c'hange being the elirrmination of a paid secretarjr <br />to the Landmarks Commission. <br />Meeting was adjourned at 10:25 p.m. <br />Julia K.
