Gorris, J. Roberts, E. Traczyk, J. Wixted, J. Brown, <br />and T. Morga.n. ' <br />Also Present: Assistant Law Director J. Dubelko, Building Commissioner E. <br />Gundy, Assistant City Engineer D.McDermott, Councilmen - <br />R. Tallon and R. Bierman, and Recording Secretary B. Oring. <br />II. REVIEW AND CORRECTION OF MINUTESc <br />In the Minutes of Ja.n.24,1984: Page 3, COMMUNICATIONS, Ord. 84-2, Mr. Burns <br />voted, Aye.; Page 1, BUILDING DEPARTMENT REQUESTS, item 1, delete to that <br />Board, in the motion; Page 2, item 3, second line should read NTW tire outlet. <br />III. BUILDING DEPARTMENTREQUESTS: <br />1) Marc's, 26393 Great Northern.Shopping Ceriter <br />Proposal to install wall sign which does not conform to criteria esab- <br />lished for shopping center. <br />Building Commissioner Gundy advised that this item has been withdrawn <br />since the sign will now conform. <br />2) Biskind Properties, 28300 Lorain Rd. <br />Proposal to construct retail st"ore. <br />(Heard by Architectural Board'of Review February 1, 1984). <br />Commission studied recommendations of the Architectural Board. In re- <br />? sponse to questions raised by Planning Commission at th.e last meeting, <br />Mr. Richland advised that hours of operation will be Monday, Wednesday, <br />Thdrsday, and Friday from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.; Tuesdays and Saturdays from <br />9,a.m. to 6 p.m. and Sundays from 12 noon to 5:30 p.m. There are no <br />plans to develope triangular segment of property which is attached to <br />main parcel. All lights will be directed down so as not to shine onto <br />adjacent homes. Mr. Burns suggested that the gate on the existing f ence <br />should be eliminated, if this proves to be a problem it can be taken <br />care of later. The sign panel will be made a part of the mansard. A <br />pole sign and wall sign are planned but co,py will be submitted later. <br />J. Burns moved to approve the Biskind properties proposal to construct <br />a retail store at 28300 Lorain Road.;as approved by the Architectural <br />Board of Review,. seconded by B. Gorris, and unanimously approved. _ <br />3) Great Northern Shopping Center, Lorain Rd. <br />: Proposal to construct addition to westerly side of shopping center. <br />(Confinued from Planning Commission meeting of January 24, 1984).
