r.
BOARD OF BUILDING CODE APPEALS FEBRUARY 23, 1984 PAGE 2
interior work has been done and house was livable. Mrs. Lord stated
that if Flagners cannot restore house, there are others who would like
to buy and restore it. Demolition procedures were explained to Mrs.
Dora Adams, who was born in house. Board agreed that Flagners had had
enough time to have work under way or at least have definite estimates.
They do not want to have house demolished but are concerned that work
will not get started if stay is granted. Flagners can work out pro-
blems with Council. J. Patton moved to deny the stay of Demolition
since the Building Department states that the house is fire damaged and
has been vacnat in excess of 2 years, and in order to protect the health
and safety of the people in the area, the demolition order should stand,
seconded by B. Schulz, and unanimously approved. Mr. Flagner was ad-
vised that he will have to work with the City Council on an appeal
and that he should contact the Mayoris office, and the Building Com-
missioner the next day with definite dates, contractors, and estimates.
(2) Biskind Development Co., 28300 Lorain Rd.
Exposed exterior walls of masonry construction above grade shall be
faced with brick, stone, or other material hereafter approved by
the Board of Building Code Appeals.
Mr, Carlis.le of Biskind Development Co. presented a split block which
is.the same as approved for the Pick and Pay building.
