Request 36 sq. ft. variance for oversize pole <br />sign (addition to existing pole sign) and variance for total sign area. Violation <br />of Ord. 62-33, Section 1221.07. (Variance granted for Goodwill wall sign 4/6/83). <br />(Variance granted for Chuck E. Cheese pole sign 12/2/81). <br />Interested persons were invite d to stand before the Board and be sworn in. In <br />attendance were Sign Contractor Art Lewis and Dorothy Badger. Recent request <br />for a wall sign variance was discussed. The Board referred to the minutes of <br />April 6, 1983 that advised Mrs. Badger a previous request for Pole Sign had been <br />refused. Mr. Remmel made a motion to grant the variance, seconded by E. Graves. <br />All members voted no. The request for variance was denied. <br />6. L'Escargot (formerly LaValles), 25984 Lorain Rd. <br />/ Request special permit to use non-conforming pole sign (location). <br />Special permission required Ord. 62-33, Section 1231.02. <br />Interested persons were invited to stand before the Board and be sworn in. Mr. <br />Restifo observed that the only change is in the faces to be replaced, and made a <br />motion to approve the variance, seconded by E. Graves, and unanimously approved. <br />Special permit granted. <br />Great Northern Properties <br />Request for ruling (1133.11). Request ruling if various properties located in an <br />area bounded roughly by Brookpark Rd., Countr,y Club Blvd., I-480, Columbia Rd., and <br />Lorain Rd., are to be considered "through lots" as specified in Ord. 62-33, Section <br />1125.49. <br />At the developers request, this case is postponed to next regular meeting of <br />January 4, 1984. <br />Meeting.was adjourned at 8:30 p.m. <br />TYiese minutes are respectfully submitted by E.
