Zurawski advised that drawings were not avail- <br />able at this time; however, he explained the proposal for a <br />curb cut to provide access to a proposed restaurant, with the <br />suggestion that the Commission study the area involved. This <br />is a heavily traveled area with two lanes of traffic turning <br />left off Great Northern from 1480. J. Burns moved to continue <br />the Median.strip cut on Country Club Blvd. until we receive <br />preliminary plans for review, seconded by J. Brown, and unan- <br />imously.approved. <br />V. COMMUNICATIONS: <br />An invitation to the Ohio Planning Commission meeting May 17th <br />through 19th at Mansfield. <br />Letter from Anna M. Predovic objecting to Planning Commission's <br />recommendation for rezoning the General Retail Business area to <br />Residential in the Pheasants Walk Subdivision, on the basis that <br />it would devalue her adjacent property. Mr. Morgan requested the <br />Engineering Department to review this objection and advise if this <br />rezoning would be detrimental to her property. He would also like <br />the Law Department to review the letter. Mr. Woerpel has also <br />spoken with Mrs. Predovic and advised her that there would be a <br />public hearing prior to any rezoning. <br />VI. NEW BUSINESS: <br />No Items. <br />VII. OLD BUSINESS: <br />In regard to Pheasants Walk Subdivision, Councilman Woerpel advised <br />that the BZD Committee recommended that the access road into Welles- <br />' ley Ave. remain as originally platted and Council concurred. BZD also <br />recommended that the extension of the raad into Parkston Ave (a <br />paper street) could be eliminated. - <br />Study of vacant city owned land being used by the Council's Long <br />- Range Planning Committee will be distributed to Planning Commission <br />members and will.•.also be ased by the Land Study Committee of Plan- <br />ning Commission. <br />VIII. Mr. Gorr.is stated that his committee is studying the 1968 Comprehen- <br />sive Plan and will be meeting at a later date. <br />IX. ADJOURNMENT: <br />Neither Mr. Gorris nor Mr. Wixted will be at the next meeting. <br />B. Gorris moved to excuse the absence of Mr. Roberts, seconded by <br />J. Brown, and unanimously approvedo <br />Miss V.
