Rep. <br />Robert Hunter <br />Patrick Patton <br />Lois Van Auken <br />Gloria Sell <br />Dale Wunderle <br />Regular meetings are scheduleafor the thirci Thursday of each <br />month. In 1983 there were ten regular meetings, two special <br />meetings and one public meeting. <br />Major Activities: <br />Site iMarkers - Inspection made of all site markers. Parker Ranch <br />marker taken to Marietta, Ohio f'or free repairs by Dale Wunderle. <br />Historic Building Recognition Program - Plaque presented to Mr. and <br />ivirs. Robert Sell, 2b863 Butternut Ridge Road. Request received from <br />two homeowners; no action taken until further research is submitted. <br />Research procedure revised and forms printed. <br />Town Hall Rehabilitation Prooram - <br />March - Letter sent to over fifty residents and community,organi- <br />zations requesting use of Town Hall. <br />Letter to thirteen architects possibly interested in Town <br />Hall renovation program. <br />April - Public meeting held; approximately forty citizens in <br />attendance. <br />IvIa - Presentation made by Lois Van Auken requesting CUBG funds. <br />Application for FY 1983 Matching Grant Request submitted to <br />Ohio Historic Preservation Office for sum of $20,120.00. Approxi- <br />mately 200 applications were received totaling over $8,000,000.00 <br />in requests; only 33 projects were funded. <br />June - Architects interviewed and commission recommended to the <br />mayor the selection ot' Robert C. Uaede as consulting architect. <br />July - yIet with representatives ot'tiutternut Ridge residents <br />interested in establishing Butternut Ridge as a historic ctistrict <br />anci assistance given. <br />Sept.- Copy of preliminary blue prints received. <br />Un three occasions met with architects, toured Town Hall and <br />ciiscussed Town Hall restoration program. <br />Educational Activities: <br />Six sliae presentations made by Robert Hunter to approximately <br />185 people.
