Mr. G. Draeger and Mr, C. Rini presented plans for the addition.
Mr. Caxlisle representing Great No.rthern Partnership was also
present. Board studied motion of Council regarding ruling of
Board of Zoning appeals. This is not pertinent to their review.
Addition will be 8,000 sq. ft. running parallel to Brookpark Rd.
All materials will match the existing as closely as possible.
There will be a one-way access for trucks along the south side of
building. Compacter will be relocated-and loading dock will be
to rear of building. Board believed that a 200' wall and parking
area along Brookpark Road should be relieved by some type of land-
scaping or possibly some treatment of the wall. Mr. Draeger does
not know if he can put landscaping on Brookpark right-of-way.
They would be willing to'do this if they can get permission.
A 3' planting strip could be put along 20' driveway since width
of drive could be reduced. S. Ebin moved to approve the Rini's
addition as presented with the addition that 'a 3' planting strip
on the southerly boardez of Rini's property be included and that
th.e landscaping plan for that strip from the eastern edge of the
property to the western edge of the main drive be submitted for
approval at the next zneeting, seconded by M. Case. Motion was
discussed. Mrs. Case would still like some sort of decorative
treatment Qn the wasll. Mr. Mongello believed that landscape
plan should be submitted before approval is given. Roll call on
motiono Ebin, Aye. Case, Cavaluchi, and Mongello, Nay. Motion
failed to pass. R. Mongello moved that plans not be approved for
the. Rini's addition because there is no landscaping plans with
the proposal presented and suggest that they return with a land-
s,cape plan that has been studied, and see if they can go onto
the right-of-way and landscape that in conjunction with their own
property, and xesubmit proposal, seconded by S. Ebin, and unani-
mously approved, The Board will call an extra meeting, if Mr.
Rini. si> <?.esires,
Board discussed the screening of the roof top units for Pick and
Pay with Mr. Carslisle. These screens had been promised several
months ago. Plan had been approved. The Board had requested that
a lettex be sent to Mr. Richland requesting a date for instal-
lation. Mr. Carlisle stated that he had not been involved with
the project, tiut he will get back to the Board with a definite
committment, Mr. Mongello stated that if screening is not in-
stalled by next meeting perhaps more definite action should be
taken since this project has been delayed for so long.
VT. ADJOURNMENT;
The meeting was adjourned at 5:30 p.m.
. Case, Chairwoman B. Oring, Recording Secretary
