Roll Call:
Chairman Schulz called the meeting to order at 7:38 p.m.
Present: J. Patton, R. Tallon, and B. Schulz
Absent: J. Kasak and R. Puzzitiello
Also Present: Building Commissioner E. Gundy and Recording
Secretary B. Oring
II. REVIEW AND CORRECTION OF MINUTES:
The Minutes of June 23, 1983 were approved as submitted.
III. NEW BUSINESS:
l. Thomas J. Csapo, Csapo Dental Laboratory, Inc. 22340 Lorain Rd.
Request for a Stay of Demolition Order for property located
at 25710 Lorain Rd., North Olmsted, Oliio.
Mr. Csapo, the owner, explained that he had been unable to
build on the property as planned due the the economy. He now
has a purchase agreement signed July 20th for the property,
however he does not know if prospective owner is going to
remodel the existing house or demolish it. He would like the
stay of demolition until the new owner takes possession around
the middle of August. The house has been entered and vandalized
on the inside, but the building is brick and structurally sound.
All openings are now boarded up and sheet metal has been put
on basement windows. Grass is now being cut. Mr. Csapo does
not know if buyer is aware of the condemnation order. Building
Commissioner Gundy stated that building is a disaster and the
demolition order is a proper order; and there should be a
firm committment on when building will be renovated or razed.
Condemnation wi11 go to Council the first meeting in September
and would be voted on in the middle of September. Once the
request for demolition goes to Council, any appeal would have
to be directed to Council. It was suggested that Mr. Csapo
have the new owners contact Mr. Gundy with some definite plans.
Mr. Caspo does not know when their plans would be finalized.
R. Tallon moved that the stay of demolition be denied, and
that the order of demolition be taken to Council, seconded
by B. Schulz, and unanimously approved.
2. Ben K. Wright, 6021 Barton Rd., North Olmsted, OH
Request permission to move and relocate a single residential
dwelling from 5252 Dover Center Rd. to Permanent Parcel #232-
11-32 (between 27554 and 27588 Butternut Ridge Rd.)
