Mr. Ream explained that because of the e- conomy he liad been unable to get a loan for a model home Lrom which to conduct his business. When he did start a model it was sold before completion and he will not be able to get another loan until the paper work is completed for the morgage on that house. Building Com- mi:ssioner Gundy granted verbal permission for the construction/office trailer, however, Mr. Ream was unaware that he was supposed to comply with the 50' set back requirement until the trailer had been set in place on April 22 the same day he received written confirmation from the Building Department. He does not think he can place it 50' back without having to remove some valuable trees. On May 13th, the Build- ing Department revoked permission for the trailer as a result of the complaint by neighbors and because of the location. The neighbors, Mr. and Mrs. Brad Elzeer from Tallwood and Mr. Crickon and Mr. Schmieler from Canterbury Rd. want the trailer moved further into the develop- ment. Councilwoman Y. Petrigac also agrees that this would be more satisfactory. The neighbors claim this is a real estate office since homes are being sold there. Mr. Ream stated that mainly this is a construction office, and after he gets.another model completed he can consult with potential customers there, which is what he had done pre- viously. Mr. Remmel stated that he had viewed the site and that the trailer could be moved back beyond the 50' required. He did not think that it was unusual for a builder to have a construction trailer on the site of a new development. C. Remmel moved to grant a Special Pertnit to permit this particular trailer to be set back 50' or be- yond the trees on the lot it now occupies for a period of 90 days 1 n,_., ? Graves, and unanimously approved. Special Permit granted. August will be a vacation month. E. Graves moved to excuse the absence of R. Bugala, seconded by C. Remmel, and unanimously approved.
