COMMUNICATIONS: <br />Invitation to Regional Planning Commission's Workshop and Annual <br />Dinner Meeting, March 4, 1982. The members expressed interest in <br />attending. The Recording Secretary is to look into funds avail- <br />able for attendance. <br />Mr. Gorris read a rough draft of the letter to the League of <br />Womens Voters responding to their suggestions for a community <br />planning program. The members made several suggestions which Mr. <br />Gorris will incorporate into the final draft. <br />Letter from Councilman D. Woerpel, Chairman of the Building, <br />Zoning and Development Committee of Council, stating that he or <br />another member of the committee will be in attendance at all <br />Planning Commission Meetings in order to improve communications <br />between the two groups. A joint meeting is also being planned. <br />Mr. Morgan has received several calls.in reference to Ord. 81-21 <br />and 22 which calls for the rezoning of a segment of land bounded <br />by the CEI easement, I-480, and the Limited Industrial area on <br />the west boundry of the City from'Residential and Multi-family <br />to Limited Industry. These Ordinances had been approved by Plan- <br />ning Commission at the March 10, 1981 meeting. Councilman Woerple <br />explained the fears of some of the adjacent neighbors. These <br />Ordi:nances have not been approved as yet by Council. <br />VI. NEW BUSINESS: <br />No Items <br />VII. OLD BUSINESS: <br />No Items <br />VIII. COMMITTEE REPORTS: <br />The Committee studying the Parking Ordinances will be meeting <br />again before the next meeting. <br />IX. ADJOURNMENT: <br />J. Prokasy moved to excuse the absence of J. Roberts, seconded <br />by T. Morgan, and unanimously approved. The meeting was adjourned at 9:55 p.m. <br /> <br /> <br />Gorris, Chairman B. Oring,-Recording Secretary
