A' <br />PLANNING COMMISSION OCTOBER 26, 1982 PAGE 2 <br />VII. OLD BUSINESS: <br />(a) Ordinance 82-116 Limited Industry = Industrial Park District <br />The Commission studied Ord. 62-116 section by section with <br />Council members D. Woerpel, R. Bierman, and Y. Petrigac. <br />Mr. Goldberg of Sunrise Development also aclvised the Commission <br />what other communites had established for Industrial Park <br />criteria. It was basically agreed that a minimum 200' frontage <br />and a minimum of 2 acres for each lot was too restrictive for <br />smaller companies. The Commission agreed that landscape buffer <br />Q areas should not be necessary unless the Industrial Park was <br />abutting a residential area. It was decided that some sections <br />should be clarified. <br />J. Burns moved to approve Ord. 82-116 with the following recom- <br />mendations: <br />Section 1191.01 A - that being adjacent to a residence district <br /> not be a criteria for being defined for a <br /> Limited Industry-Industrial Park District <br />Section 1191.03D rear yard be del;eted <br />Chapter 1193 Should be entitled Limitations on Use in a <br /> Limited Industry District. <br />Section 1193.01 Landscaping buffer strips be applicable only <br /> to areas that abut a residential district. <br />Chapter 1195 Should be entitled Height and Area Regulations <br />Section 1195.03 use the current side yard limitations of 10' <br /> with accumulative of 40' <br />Section 1195.04 should be entitled Area Regulations <br /> and also that 2 acre F?iinimum lot size be <br /> changed to 1 acre, and that 200' frontage be <br /> reduced to perhags 100 to 150' <br />? seconded by T. Morgan, and unanimously approved. <br />Councilman Woerpel thanked the Commission for their s.tudy and sug- <br />gestions for the above Ordinance, as well,as, their letter suggesting <br />various changes to other parts of the zoning codes. He will appraciate <br />any other recommendations in the future. <br />VIII. COMMITTEE REPORTS: <br />No Items <br />IX. ADJOURNMENT: <br />J. Roberts moved to excuse the absence of R.
