ROLL CALL:. <br />Chairwoman Case called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m. <br />Present: M. Case, S. Ebin, and R. Parry <br />Absent: R. Mongello <br />Also Present: Recording Secretary B. Oring <br />II. REVIEW AND CORRECTION OF MINUTES: <br />S. Ebin corrected the Minutes of October 20th, page 3, line 3, <br />insert word than; should read "...and that no sign, other than signs.." <br />and also on page 3, line 4 correct to read "BZD Committee". <br />R. Parry moved to approve the minutes as corrected, seconded by M. <br />Case, and unanimously approved. <br />III. SIGNS: <br />(a) The Church of St. Clarence (The Rev. Fr. T. Flynn), <br />30106 Lorain Rd. - Development Sign <br />The sign consists of brick posts and frame with changeable copy <br />encased in glass, and stone portion on top. Neither structural <br />details or lighting plans were available. There was concern <br />that the columns could not support the weight or that the sign <br />could be pushed over. No color rendering was available. Board <br />had no problem with the aesthetics of the sign but is concerned <br />about safety and structural details. R. Parry moved to approve <br />the sign contingent on the Building Departments's review and <br />approval on the structural integrity of the co1ur.tns in order to <br />support the weight of the 4' x 7` stone and be able to withstand <br />lateral forces that may be applied on the stone, and also, that <br />the face of the changeable copy be in a break resistant plastic <br />rather than glass, seconded by M. Case. Roll call on motion: <br />Parry and Case, Aye.
