OLD BUSINESS:
In reference to last months meeting which had no,q.uorum, the Board ,
discussed having the Sign Ordinance rephrased to stipulate that a
fee can be levied if a sign is installed without getting proper
approvals. There is nothing in the Ordinance stating that a con-
tractor cannot file for a permit and go through the sign approval
proceedure a.fter the sign is installed. It was decided to draft
a letter to the Law Department requesting that the Ordinance be
rewr.itten so that a fine can be levied and so,that the City can
make the contractor remove a sign prior to going through the pro-
ceedures for approvals. After the legislation is drafted, the Board
will forward it to P,lanni.ng Commission and Council for approvals.
V. ADJOURNMENT:
The meeting was adjourned at 8:35 p.m.
B, Schulz, Chairman B. Oring, Recording Secretary
