BOARD OF ZONING APPEALS DECEMBER 2, 1981 PAGE 2 <br />W. Wasniak moved to grant the 4' ht. variance, seconded by L. <br />Horvath. Roll call on motion: Wasniak, Horvath, Remmel, and <br />Bugala, Nay. Motion failed to pass. The Board advised Mr. Di <br />Ruggiero.that he had 60 days to reduce the height of the shed <br />or another citation would be issued. Square foot variance granted. <br />Height variance denied. <br />3. Chuck E. Cheese':s Pizza Time Theatre (Brooks Electric Signs), <br />23333 Lorain Rd. <br />Request for variance (1133.13). Request 20 sq. ft. variance <br />for pole sign (above Cunningham's sign). Violatian of Ord. <br />62-33, Section 1225.02. <br />Chairman Remmel called all interested parties before,.the Board. <br />The oath was administered. It was explained that they will be <br />replacing the faces on the former ESCO sign which is 50 sq. ft. <br />and that the Cunningham's sign (on the same pole) is 20 sq. ft. <br />and only a 50 sq. ft. pole sign is allowed by code. It was ob- <br />served that this sign is quite high and does not appear to be <br />oversized. Mr. Remmel stated that there are several gas statio.ns <br />with signs that'will be in competition with this sign. R.'Bugala <br />moved to grant.the Chuclc E. Cheese sign variance of 20 sq. ft. <br />based upon the provision that if the sign is daiaaged or, in fact, <br />materially altered for any reason that they must then conform to <br />the standing Ordinance, seconded by C. Remmel, and unanimously <br />approved. Variance granted:- <br />4. Donald Pangrac, 23470 Sharon Dr. <br />Request for variance (1133.13). Request 13'8" variance for en- <br />closed patio. Violation of Ord. 62-33, Section 1163.01 (15.8' <br />variance denied on November ll, 1981. - <br />Chairman Remmel called all interested parties before the Board. <br />The oath was administered. This is a reduced variance from the <br />one denied on November llth. Mr. Pangrac explained that this <br />enclosure would be.almost completely glassed in and would be un- <br />heated. Mr. Pangrac stated that the house three doors to the <br />east extended out as.far and also, that none of his neighbors ob- <br />jected. Af ter a brief discussion, Mr. Pangrac agreed to amend his <br />request so that the enclosure would extend only 14' from the <br />house and would be only 18°.wide (originally it was planned to <br />be 21` wide). C. Remmel moved to grant the variance based on 14' <br />from the house proper (not from the off set)'and.18' in width, <br />seconded by R. Bugala, and unanimously approved. Variance <br />granted. <br />In reference to the Christ The King Community Request, Law Director <br />M.
