?? . <br />y. . <br />CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />BOARD OF ZONING APPEALS <br />MINUTES - MARCH 4, 1981 <br />Chairman Ledvina called the meeting to order at 7:30 p.m. <br />Present: D. Ledvina, C. Remmel, L. Horvath, E. DeVoto, and <br />W. Wasniak <br />Also Present: Law Director M. Gareau, Building Commissioner <br />E. Gundy, Councilman R. Wilamosky, and Recording <br />Secretary B. Oring <br />1. Robert K. Ream, 30121 Lorain Rd. <br />Request for variance (1133.13). Request variance to subdivide <br />property in General Retail Business area with no frontage on <br />Lorain Road and also, request variance for area of lot less <br />than 25,000' sq. ft. Violation of Ord. 62-33, Section 1174.07. <br />Chairman Ledvina called all interested parties before the Board. <br />The oath was administered. Mr. Ream explained that this building <br />was built For a dav care center and.all three vrevious tennants <br />have had financial problems there. Far West Counselling Service <br />now wants to buy the building with a State grant, under the terms <br />of this grant they must buy the property, not lease it. There , <br />is no frontage;however,the existing drive will be a permanent <br />easement. C. Remmel moved to grant the variance, seconded by <br />W. Wasniak. Roll Call on Motion: Remmel, Wasniak, Ledvina, <br />Horvath, and DeVoto, Nay. Motion failed to pass. Request Denied. <br />2. Pearl M. Cassaro, 23763 Ambour Dr. <br />Request for variance (1133.13). Request 2' variance.from rear <br />porper.ty line for garage. Violation of Ord. 62-33, Section <br />1151.04-C. Also, request 2' variance for distance between <br />house and garage. Violation of Ord. 62-33, Section 1151.04-C. <br />Chairman Ledvina called all interested parties before the Board. <br />The oath was administered. The request was explained to the <br />neighbors who were concerned about drainage. It was explained <br />that gutters and downspouts would be required, and that the <br />grade would be set by the Engineering Department so that no <br />additional water would drain on adjacent property. The garage <br />will be 22 x 26'. E. DeVoto moved to grant the variance as <br />presented, seconded by L. Horvath. Roll Call on Motion: <br />DeVoto, Horvath, Ledvina, and Wasniak, yea. Remmel, Nay. Motion <br />passed. Variance granted. .
