? <br />CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />BOARD OF ZONING APPEALS <br />MINUTES - JANUARY 7, 1981 <br />Chairman Ledvina called the meeting to order at 7:30 p.m. <br />Present: D. Ledvina, C. Remmel, L. Horvath, and W. Wasniak <br />Absent: E. DeVoto <br />Also Present: Law Director M. Gareau and Recording Secretary B. Oring <br />L. Horvath moved to approve the Minutes of December 3, 1980 as <br />submitted, seconded by C. Remmel, and unanimously approved. <br />ELECTION OF OFFICERS: <br />Chairman Ledvina declared nominations were in order to elect officers <br />of the Board for the year of 1980, as prescribed in Ordinance #62-33, <br />Section 1133.02. <br />C. Remmel nominated D. Ledvina as Chairman. Nomination was seconded <br />by L. Horvath. There,were no other nominations for Chairman. Mr. <br />D. Ledvina was unanimously elected as Chairman. <br />L. Horvath nominated C. Reimmel for Vice-Chairman. Nomination was <br />seconded by.W. Wasniak. There were no other nominations for Vice- <br />Chairman. Mr. C. Remmel was unanimously elected as Vice Chairman. <br />1. Dale Steadman, 23317 Marion Rd. Request for variance (1133.13). Request Special Permit to add to <br />non-conforming garage. Violation of Ord. 62-33, Section 1231.02. <br />Also request 3' sideyard variance to extend a non-conforming garage. <br />Violation of Ord. 62-33, Section 1151.04-C. <br />Chairman Ledvina called all interested parties before the Board. <br />The oath was administered. It was stated that this would be a <br />• double garage not a shed addition. L. Horvath moved to grant the <br />Special Permit and the variance, seconded by W. Wasniak, and unani- <br />mously approved. <br />2. JRU, Inc. Pooltown (J. Uranis), 29454 Lorain Rd. <br />Request for variance (1133.13). Request variance for location of <br />pole sign. Violation of Ord. 62-33, Section 1221.06 F-4 and also, <br />request variance for more than one pole sign on property. Violation <br />of Ord. 62-33, Section 1221.06 B-4. <br />Chairman Ledvina called all interested parties before the Board. <br />The oath was administered. This request is for a new tennant <br />of an existing store. Part of the existing sign is now in use <br />and the lower half is to be used for Pooltown. There is another <br />pole sign for the other tennants of the shopping strip. The <br />owner of the building stated that if his tennants cannot use
