Parry questioned the amount of square f'ootage allowed for
signage for this building and if this proposal conforms to the
Ordinance. R. Parry moved to approve the signage with the condition
that the Building Department recheck the calculations to make
sure that these new signs do not exceed those that are permitted
based upon the code; and secondly, that all existing signage
be removed that are to be replaced by these including flags and
pennants which are now not permitted, seconded by R. Mongello
and unanimously approved.
(e) Halleen Chevrolet (Wagner Sign Co.,) Added to Agenda, 27932
Lorain Rd. - 4 Wall Signs,.:1 Pole<.Sign, and 1 Ground Sign.
R. NEW BUSINESS:
(a) Honda-Yamaha (MongeTlo Associates), 28436 Lorain Rd.
Mr. K. Leo of Mongello Associates explained the plans. The
building will be split face block and drivit. The plans were
studied and discussed in conjunction with the Planning Com-
mission Minutes of February 10, 1981. The Board felt that the
plans were lacking in detail necessary for their approval.
R. Parry moved to table the Honda-Yamaha proposal for more
detailed plans showing where windows, trash receptacles,
lighting f ixtures to be located; submit more complete site
plan, considering possibility of relocating loading ramp so
it is not at edge of driveway, show mechanical locations;
submit signage and show where to be located; define where
using drivit and split face block on building, seconded by
M. Case. Roll Call on Motion: Parry and Case, Aye. R.
Mongello abstained.
