memorandum
,
?
date : November 24, 1981
from : Arthur Brenneman
to ., The North Olmsted Planning Commission
re . Christ the King Community
'--?,
The following six resporises are presented to the questions raised in the
memorandum of September 22, 1981 from the Regional Planning Commission
staff to the North Olmsted Planning Commission. 1. "What will the traffic impacts of the development be, especially those
resulting from use of thelarge proposed auditarium arid school busing_."
A full° response must await the report of a traffic consultant's report,
however it can be stated that no school busing will be part of the program.
It should also be noted that the community will be realized in phases,
over a number of years, so that the accomodations for increasing traffic
can be developed in an orderly manner.
2. "What city services will be required and what portions of the development
will pay municipal taxes."
Fire protection is the onlycity service required. Security, trash removal,
snow removal, street maintenanee, and other such services will be provided
by Christ the King.Community. The approximately 150 homes will pay
municipal taxes.
3. "What effect will the project have on the local public school system and its
support for future tax levies." No effect is anticipated since students come from all over the meiropolitan
area, and beyond. The Academy is presently in operation in. North Olmsted
in grades K thru 10 with an enrollment of 400. The ultimate enrollment
for K through 12 is designed to be 700.
Richard Fleischman
Architects Inc. .
3091 Mayfield Road/Cleveland/Ohio 44118/Telephone 216 371-4800
