OLD BUSINESS: <br />(a) Jamestown Apartments, Phase 7(D. Margolius), Columbia and <br />Brookpark. <br />D. Margolis presented a site plan with notations showing lighting <br />and landscaping. He explained that the building will match the <br />existing apartments with jumbo red brick, shingles will be <br />Hallmark 340 and trim will be tan stain. The grade will be the <br />same as the other units. Mr. Parry had suggested to Mr. Petroski <br />that the curb or walk way be included at the main entrance to <br />the building. There was no definite planting plan. The Board <br />suggested that some bushes or planting be placed behind garages <br />to break up the brick wall area. <br />C. Petroski moved to approve the plans witti the stipulation that <br />1) All materials match the existing adjacent developments; 2) <br />that a landscape plan be submitted at the next Architectural <br />Board of Review Meeting; and 3) th at a 2 foo t buffer strip between <br />the center garage and driveway be installed, seconded by M. Caseand unanimously approved. <br />V. NEW BUSINESS: <br />(a) L K Heating, 4892 Dover Center Rd. <br />Mr. L. Krejci introduced the plans. Mr. Petroski stated that, . <br />tlie .vexticle siding and_ roof pitch' on the addition_.were not . . <br />compatible with the existing building and that there were too <br />many angles on the roof. <br />C. Petroski moved to disapprove the elevation for further study <br />because of the non-compatibility of the architecture with the ex- <br />isting and suggest restudy of materials and roof pitch, seconded <br />by M. Case,. and unanimously approved. <br />(b) Rite Aid Drug Store,23100 Lorain Rd. <br />G. Draeger, Architect, presented the plans. He advised the <br />Board that the 17' driveway would be for one way traffic only. <br />C. Petroski moved to approve the plans as submitted with the <br />provisions that: 1) a small 2' buffer walk be put along the easterly <br />side of the proposed addition and 2) that the additional parking <br />strips be so designated as "employee parking only" and 3) that the <br />driveway entrance be permanently noted as "one-way traffic only", <br />seconded by M. Case, and unanimously approved.
