A letter was drafted to <br />- be sent to the BZD Committee as follows: <br />In reference to the Kennedy Acres Subdivision, Preliminary <br />Plat which was proposed at the Planning Comm.i.ssion Meeting <br />on June 24, 1980, tiiis Commi.ssion is concerned about the land <br />locking of the George and K. Mathies property. <br />It would be difficult for this Commission to approve the pro- <br />posed platting when it includes sublot 24 in its present <br />location. <br />The overall platting appears to be good land use and will be <br />an asset to the community. <br />B. Gorris moved to approve the letter as drafted to be sent to <br />the BZD Committee, Engineering Department, Bauer Development <br />Co, and Building Commissioner Gundy, seconded by T. Morgan, <br />and unanimously approved. <br />VIII. COMMITTEE REPORTS: <br />R. Bugala moved to take Ordinance 79-139 out of committee, seconded <br />by T. Morgan, and unanimously approvedo Since it was unclear <br />what was actually being changed for the exis ting ordinance 9 the <br />Commission requested that Assistant City Engineer D. McDermott <br />give a report on the Ordinance at the next meetinge T. Morgan <br />moved to return Ord. 79-139 to committee, seconded by B. Krebs, is now presentm Building Commissioner <br />Gundy introduced the revised plans which were studied and <br />discussed in canjimction with the Safety Director's Report, <br />the Police Department report, the Architectural Board of Review <br />minutes of May 19,_ 1980 and June 16, 1980. The Architectural <br />Board's motion to approved the Building and site plans had <br />failed with a tied vote. The revised plans which were presented <br />at the June 16th meeting of the Architectural Review Board <br />included all the recoimmendations of the Safety Director and <br />the May meeting of the Architectural Board of Review.
