ROLL CALL: Chairman Bugala called the meeting to order at 8:00 p.m. <br /> <br />Present: B. Gorris, T. Morgan,J. Brown, and R. Bugala <br />Absent: J. Prokasy, R. Perla, and J. Roberts. <br />Also Present: Assistant City Engineer D. McDermott, Building <br />Commissioner E. Gundy, Assistant Law Director <br />D. Ryan, and Recording Secretary B. Oring <br />II. REVIEW AND CORRECTION OF MINUTES: <br />Under Also Present should read Assistant City Engineer D. McDermott <br />and under BUILDING DEPARTMENT REQUESTS: Item d line 13 should <br />read"...representatives of J. C. Penny's and Sears...." <br />J. Brown moved to approve the Minutes of November 25, 1980 as <br />corrected, seconded by R. Bugala, and unanimously approved. <br />? III. BUILDING DEPARTMENT REQUESTS: <br />West Shore Cable T.V. Rear of North Olmsted Recreation <br />Complex. , <br />Mr. Gundy introduced the preliminary plans for the 3,000 to <br />4,000 square foot addition to the front of the Recreation Center. <br />As far as could.be determined from the plans which were presented <br />the parking is adequate. Mr. Barlow of West Shore Cable T.V. and <br />Mr. Tomsik, Architect, explained that the addition will serve <br />as offices and as a studio. They believe that this facility will <br />attract attention to the Recreation Complex and will be to the <br />City's advantage. •Law Director M. Gareau had previously advised <br />them that this use for the City property is legal and that portion <br />of the property will not be tax exempt. By the terms of the <br />lease the building will revert to the City in 15 years. The de- <br />velopers thought that they could probably have complete drawings <br />prepared in time for the Architectural Board of Review Meeting <br />on December 15, 1980, if not they will resubmit the plans to the <br />Planning Commission on January 13th for referral to the Archi- <br />tectural Board of Review on January 19th. The proposal was <br />explained to Mr. Reese, a neighbor. T. Morgan moved that the <br />West Shore Cabl e T.V. Building located at the front of the North <br />Olmsted Recreation Complex be submitted to the Architectural
