No meeting held i.n June. <br />Reports: Betty Iord reported l.) Library sign had axrived9 was installed and <br />dedication ceremony wa.s at 6:45 p,m. this eveninge 2e) S1ide presentation was ma.de to <br />Welcome Zdagon Ju1y 18-th and was very well received - ano-ther to be mde to TaVme Club <br />at a later date. 3.) H.B.H.P. - Progressing. Jan Troxe7l working with Landmarks during <br />the surmner and assisting with. maila.ng of materials, etc. 4. )PlaqlLing program - Lois <br />has been con-tac-ting several firms. Polaris cannot do this type of thing. Ju1ie advised <br />Arrow Aluminum should have price quotation second week in August. 5. ) Arbore-tum - RTOthing <br />new to report. I=:arlene Orzechowski made a motion, seconded by ?ia.mie Albright, that we <br />make initial contact t-Tith the oVmers of the prflperty, and request heln tirith history of <br />IvTor'uh Olms-f,ed. 60) Iiap situation - Cost has increased from ?,.25 each to N.50. <br />Bet-ty Lord informed members she had received a telephone call from I•Ir. Frank l?iri.n <br />9Loday in response to our letter of Anril 269 1979, to owners of the Salisbury house. <br />:.e remzslced "Do you t•rant the house?" Upon being called back during the meeting he gave <br />the Landmarks Commission permission to contact the OZmsted and T-Iestern Reserve his-torical <br />societies. Discussion followed as to what might be done to preserve this house. <br />Julie announced Planning Corrmlission had approved selection of the North Olmsted <br />Congregational Church and the North Olms-ted Unitarian Universalist Church as landmarks. <br />Remainder of the meeting was devoted to o-ur exhibi-t at Homecomi.ng. Jan Troxell <br />will also assist us with sketches, drawrings and rubbings.
