r <br />ARCHITECTURAL REVIEW BOARD MINUTES - JUNE 18, 1979 PAGE 2 <br />T.S.A. Electronics Co., Inc 4869 Dover Center Rd. - Wall Sign <br />Approved and recommended to Planning Comnission providing it does <br />not exceed the precentage share of tlie signs permitted for the <br />plaza based on this building's frontage also, on the condition that <br />the paint on the aluminum be of a permanent type. <br />Redwood Inn, 25905 Lorain Rd. <br />Because no representative was present it was moved to table the sign <br />until the next meeting. <br />B. Anthony Dindia retail stores, northwest corner of ,,1est 231 Street & Lorain Rd. <br />A motion was made that revised plans be submitted to the next meeting which <br />is to be held July 9, with suggestions to be incorporated concerning 1) <br />the parking lot layout, 2) continuity of the building facade 3) more exact <br />information be included on the outside lighting, motion passed. Don <br />Williams abstained. Mr. Williams explained that since he was a Registered <br />L?ndscape Architect he could not vote on this proposal since the building <br />was designed by a Professional Engineer, and not a Professional Architect, <br />and that this was a violation of the Ohio law, and that by voting for this <br />could put his license in jeopardy and that he will now have to submit this <br />proposal to the State of Ohio for review. <br />The Board decided to meet July 9 instead of July 15 in order to be able <br />to refer cases to the Planning Commission meeting of July 10 which will <br />be their last meeting before their vacation. <br />C. Pic-jday Stores, 27650 Lorain Rd. (Northeast corner of Lorain and Porter Rds. ) <br />A motion was made to defer action until the next eeting and that the plans <br />be resubmitted with the following suggestions: 1T the entrance opening be <br />reduced to 24-30 ft. 2) Parking bays be made parallel to each other, 3) <br />provide additional 1 ds a in in the front 4) revise landscaping plan by <br />reducing the types o?ma?e?ia? and adding some evergreen type buffer alon g <br />the back 5) submittal of the samples of various building materials for <br />approval 5) re-examine the drainage and grading of the site to assure that <br />the site will drain, 7) re-examination of a more modern sign logo. Motion <br />passed. <br />A A R Office Building, 26127 Lorain Rd. <br />No representative present. Proposal deferred tmtil next meeting. <br />V. ITNIFINISHED BIISINESS <br />A. Denny's Restaurant, 25912 Lorain Rd. <br />Dipsy Dumpster still in back yard <br />B. Mr. TtiTilliams request that 2-1r. Gimdy Iook into Bogner Motors on Clague Rd. <br />south of Lorain which now has 3 junk cars. <br />Mr. Willisms will be mov-ing to Fairview Park and wa-its a ruling as to whether <br />or not he can still serve on the Board.
