<br />PLANNING COMNff SSION AUGUST 28, 1979 PAGE 2 <br />Architectural Board of Review as submitted providing it meets a11 <br />Ordinances of the City. Building Commissioner Gimdy advised that <br />the sign does meet all Ordinances of the City. W. Ohman moved to <br />approve the Rini's Stop and Shop Sign as submitted, seconded by J. <br />Brown, and unanimously approved. <br />Prime and Tender Steak House, 23642 Lorain Rd. Facia Sign. Ap- <br />proved by the Architectural Review Board for design with the con- <br />dition that facing be made of a break resistant material. D. Ryan <br />moved that the Planning Commission accept the Prime and Tender <br />Steak House sign as _stipulated by the Architectural Board'of • <br />Review, 8'econded by W. Ohman and unanimously approved. <br />Woodscape Condominiiuns, 231 Street and Lorain Rd. - Development Sign <br />Approved by the Architectural Board of Review with the condition <br />that the words -"screened porches, carpet, garage, pool, tennis" <br />be removed to allow increase in the entrance and directional in- <br />formation. Also, the Board recommends that a bond commensurate <br />with the removal costs be supplied to the City so that the sign <br />will in fact be removed at the end of the temporary.period. The <br />off site location for the sign had been approved by the Board of <br />Zoning Appeals meeting of Aug 1, 1979o for a six month period from <br />the date of installation but for no longer than June 30, 1980. <br />The location was discussedo D. Ryan moved that the Planning Coin- <br />mission approve the recommendation of the Woodscape Development <br />sign without the recommendation that a bond be posted, and in- <br />cluding the recommendation that the words "screened porches, <br />carpet, garage, pool, tennis" be removed to allow increase in the <br />entrance and directional information, seconded by B. Gorris, and <br />unanimously approved. <br />Stark Subdivision, 26065 Lorain Rd. Robert Stark, owner and - <br />A1 Strow, the Architect introduced the plans. Relocation of the <br />driveway in order to install a traffic signal had been approved <br />atothe July 10, 1979 meeting of the Planning Commission. The <br />subdivision of the property is on this Agenda tmder section IV. <br />The traffic flow, parking and plans were studied and discussed. <br />W. Ohman moved to refer the Stark Development plan to the Archi- <br />tectural Board of Review subject to the subdivision approval of the <br />property, seconded by J. Roberts, and unanimously approved. <br />R. & W. Giesser, 24963 Lorain Rd., 24963 Lorain Rd. Mr. William <br />Giesser, Attorney, explained his plans to add to and remodel <br />building for Law Office. Parking will be located in front of ' <br />building and is adequate. The plans were studied and discussed. <br />B. Gorris moved to refer the William Giesser remodeling and ren- <br />ovation plans to the Architectural Review Board, seconded by J. <br />Roberts,. and unanimously approved. <br />Columbia Village, Lorain and Colinnbia Roadse No representative <br />present.
