Mr. Ohman seconded and motion passed. , (c) North 0lmsted High School soccer field addition and site improvements. Parcel number 235-16=9, Mr. McDermott introduced Mr. Robert Storch, Assistant Superintendent of Schools and Mr. Richard Deming, Architecht, both of whom are representing the school board and they came before the Commissiono Mr. Deming distributed plans and b7.ueprints of the proposed improvements to be made at the high school site. The exact Zocation of the proposed improvements were determined and discussed --- development of 1and south of the building along the back lots off Burns Road betaeen tfle drainage ditch to the east and back lot lines to the westo. At tlie extreme south is the 1-480 right-of-way. Mrm Prokasy moved to approve the plans as submitted with the addition of extending the existing chain Zink fence 20' at a 12' height and then reduced to 6' and extended to I--480 right,of-way. Mr. Roberts seconded and motion passed. (d) Spruce Elementary School playground addition and site improvements. Parcel : 234-27-64. Mr. Storch and Mr. Deming distributed plans and blueprints of the proposed improvements for Spruce School playground additiono The location of the playground was briefly discussed and determined. Mr. Ryan moved to approve the plans for playground relocation for Spruce Elementary School as presented. Mrs. Brown seconded and motion passed. V. COMMUNICATIONS (a) Ord. 78-94 Letter from Mrso Hi11, Clerk of'Council, and copies of the ordinance had_been_reviewed_by-membe?rs9-=Mr. Roberts moved we approve the amend-__ . ment of the zoning code of the City of North 0lmsted by changing the premises therein described from class "A" high rise residential to general retail business. Mr. Prokasy seconded and motion passed. (b) Ord. 78-103 Letter fxom Mrs. Hi11, C1erk of Council, and copies of the ordinance had been reviewed by members. Ordinance provides for the amendment of the zone map of the City of North Olmsted which zone map is part of the zoning code of the City of North Olmsted by changing the premises therein described from limited-industrial-to "B" residential. Mrs. Brown moved to approve the ordinance. Mr. Prokasy seconded and motion passedo VIo NEW BUSINESS Mre Rafeld regretfully stated he must resign as Chairman of the Planning Commission as, effective September l, 1978, he has accepted a position in New Jersey and will be moving out of the area.
