There were 48 accidents on Lorain
Road between GoaaarX?Blvde and Great Northern Blvd. from December
30, 1977 and October 25, 1978. In view of the traffic problems in this
area, a policy prohibiting left hand turns on this section of Lorain
- Road is now under consideration by Councila Another traffic light at
that location is not feasible because of the lack of vehicle storage.
Mr. Petre does not feel that we can change tlle exj.sting traffic control
system for the benefit of one property owner. Mro Zurawski requested
Mr, jdilliam Jackman, Traffic Consultant for State Wholesale, to bring
the commission up to date on proposals to alleviate the traffic problem.
There has been previous discussions of an internal driveway from
Brookpark Extension at Sparkey Lane to the State Wholesale property,
