CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />BO.ARD OF ZONING APPEAIS <br />June 14, 1978 <br />Chairman Ledvina called the meeting to order at 7:30 p.m. <br />l,'resent: Chairman Ledvina, Messrs. Remmel, Fairfield, Horvath and DeVoto <br />Also Present: Building Commissioner Gundy, Law 3]irector Gareau and Recording Secre- <br />; tary Hodgzns. <br />Mr. Remmel moved to accept mi.nutes of May 3, 1978 as presented. Mr. Horvath second- <br />ed and motion passed. <br />1."McDonald's, 27322 Lorain Rdo Request for varianee (1133,13). Request for.over- <br />size pole sign. Violation of Ord. 62-33 Section 122502 (E) (4). <br />Chairman Ledvina requested the applicant and all other interested persons to as- <br />semble before the Board. The oath was administered. After short discussion Mr. <br />/Remmel moved to reject the request. Mr. Fairfield seconded, and motion passed. <br />2.'J Charles J. Mihalek, 3629 Znlalte'r Rd. Request for variance (1133.13)• Request <br />for oversize, over height and mare than required number of feet from rear lot <br />li.ne for storage shed. Violation bf Orda 75-117. Appellant appeared before <br />the Board and was administered the oath. <br />kfter discussion and study of plans Mr. Remmel moved to grant variance based <br />on Iega1 size shed and to be located as presentedo Mr. Fairfield seconded, and <br />motion passed. <br />At this time Mr. Remmel suggested that West View Lumber Co. again be notified <br />ox our orao 75-117. <br />30 " Raymofta Kneeland,25077 DeerfA3.d Dr. <br />for 17ft. Rear .yard variance, ' .. . . <br />Request for variance (1133.13). Request <br />Violation of Ord. 62-33 Section 1163.Ue <br />Chairman Ledvina requested the applicant and all other interested persons to <br />assemble before the Board. The oath was administered. Request is for 12 ft. <br />x 15 ft. addition on xear for sez•eened porch. It was suggested this is size- <br />able erosion of rear yard. Mr. De Voto moved to approve the request with ad- <br />dition limited to use as porch. Mr. Horvath seconded, and motion passedp with <br />14r. Farifield voting nay; all others voted aye. <br />4. Frederic C. Bower, 5965 zouis Dra. Request for variance (1133s13)• Request to <br />;;/reduce size of front yard at SubLot No„ 60 on 14i.chael Dr. (adjacent to 4714 <br />Michael Drd). Violation of Ord. 62-33 Section 1159.01. <br />Chairman I,edvina requested the applicant and all other interested persons to <br />assemble before the Board. The oath was administered. Three variances are be- <br />ing requested: front setback for house; front setback for garage and variance <br />for distance between house and garage. After lengthy discussion Mr. Remmel <br />moved to grant the variances as requested. Mr. DeVoto secondede Roll caZl on <br />motion: Messrs. Remmel, DeVoto, Horvath and Ledvina; aye; Mr. Fairfield, nay. <br />Motion passed. Request granted.
