fffttV of Nvxt4 - (9lmo#-ebr, (194to <br />BOARD OF ZONING APPEALS <br />Regular Meeting <br />January 4, 1978 <br />Chairman Ledvina called the meeting to order at 7:35 p.m. <br />Present: Chairman Ledvina, Messrs. R. Ackley, C. Remmel. Also present, Law <br />Director M. Gareau, Building Commissioner E. Gundy. <br />Motion was made by R. Ackley to approve the minutes of December 7, 1977. <br />Seconded by C. Remmel, motion passed. <br />Chairman Ledvina declared nominations were in order to elect officers of the <br />Board for the year of 1978, as prescribed in Ordinance #62-33, Section 1133.02. <br />R. Ackley nominated D. Ledvina as Chairman.. Nomination was seconded by C. Remmel. <br />There were no other nominations for Chairman. D. Ledvina was unaminously elected <br />Chairman. <br />C. Remmel nominated K. Huntington as Vice-chairman, nomination was seconded by <br />R. Ackley. There were no other nominations for Vice-chairman. K. Huntington " <br />was unamiously elected Vice-chairman. <br />1. Great Northern Shopping Center, 10740 Broadway, Garfield Heights,Ohio 44025. <br />: Request for variance (1133.13) to use storage building behind Great Northern <br />Shopping Center for Animal Clinic. Violation of Ordinance #62-33, Section <br />1173.02,(D) 7. (less than 500' from food establishment). Resubmittal due to <br />proposed Ordinance #77-200. Chairman Ledvina requested the applicant and <br />all other interested persons to stand before the Board. The oath was admin- <br />istered. Representing Great Northern Shopping were Dr. Davis, and Mr. Shur. <br />Chairman Ledvina reminded the Board of their recommendation November 2, 1977 <br />requesting significant changes to Section 1173.02,(D) 7. This request is <br />reflected in proposed Ordinance #77-200 which was furnished to the members. <br />Plans were perused and the minutes of the first meeting were read. Dr. Davis <br />stated for the record, "No animals will be confined to the premises unless <br />ailing or for any other reason seeking attention by the Veterinarian". Mr. <br />Ackley moved to approve this request as submitted. Seconded by Mr. Remmel. <br />The motion was passed.
