c. <br />? <br />r ? <br />? <br />CIlY Or NORTH OLMISTED, OF-ii0 <br />BOARD OF ZONING APFEALS <br />The June l, 1977 meeting oi the Board of Zoning Appeals was called to order by Chair- <br />man Ledvina at 7;30 p.m. <br />Present: Chairman Ledvina, Messrs. Huntington and Remmela Chairman Ledvina announc- <br />ed with regret the resignation of N1r. Hamille <br />Due to resignation of Mrs Hami11 nominations were in order for Vice Chairmano N?r. <br />Remmel nominated 14r. Huntington. P•4re Ledvina seconded the motione By Acclarr.ation <br />Yx. Huntington was elected Vice Chairman of Board of Zoning Appeals for the remainder <br />of 1977. <br />Also Present: Yir. Gareau, Zaw Director, r7r. Gundy, Building Commissioner, N?rs. Hod- <br />gins, Recording Secretary and Councilman Saringer. <br />Mr> Huntington moved to declare the month of July as vacation month for the Zoning <br />Board of Appealso Mr. Remmel seconded, and motion passed. <br />Minutes of Yiay 4 were revieweda Item 7. should have added "A variance is not requir- <br />ed, therefore a permit will be issued". Item 10, should have added "the Church is to <br />rent space to private parties; the private parties are to rent for commercial use." <br />Kr. Huntington moved minutes be accepted as corrected. INr. Remmel seconded and motion <br />passed. <br />kfter addressing the audience as to format for conducting Public Hearings, Chairman <br />Ledvina proceeded taith the hearings. <br />? l. Donald D. & Niary Judith P'iiller, 27508 Edgepark Blvd. Request for variance, Re- <br />quest for 6 in. and 18 in. height variances for fence on corner lot. Violation <br />of Ord. 62-33 Section 1151.04. <br />Chairman Ledvina invited the applicant and all other interested persons to assem- <br />ble before the Board. All witnesses, before testifying, were sworn in. Request <br />is for split rail fence of less than 50% open fence. Tao neighbors object be- <br />cause of lack of visibility in side yard area. After further discussion i"Ir.Hunt- <br />ington moved to deny request for 4 ft. fence in side yard area, Mr. Remmel sec- <br />onded, and motion passed. <br />1/2. Otis E. Garrison,, 1?128 Ashton Circle. Request for variance. Request for 2 ft. <br />height variance for fenceo Violation of Ord. 62-33 Section 1151.0L. <br />Chairman Ledvina invited the applicant and all other interested l8rsons to asem- <br />ble before the Board. All witnesses, before testifying, were sworn in. Case No, <br />16 (similar to Garrison case) was also heard at this time. --,"'16. John Shannon, 4142 Ashton Circle. Request for variance (1133e13). Request for <br />2 ft. height variance for fence. Violation of Ord. 62-33 Section 1151.0?, <br />Solid fence is planned to shield Garrison and Shannon properties from apartment <br />house tennis courts, dog walk and wesds. Solid fence is planned behind both <br />properties. Mr. Huntington moved to grant 2 fto height variance for fence on <br />Garrison property line. Mr, Remmel seconded, and motion passed. <br />Mr. Remmel moved to grant 2 ft. height varianee for fence on Shannon property <br />line, Nir. Huntington seconded, and motion pasped,
