Roll Call <br />Chairman Tischler called the meeting to order at 8:10 p.m. Chairman <br />Tischler asked Mr. Nee to call the roll. <br />Present: Tiessrs. Tischler, Nee, Prokasy and Zurawski. <br />Also Present: Law Director Gareau, Building Commissioner Gundy and <br />Recording Secretary Hodgins. <br />II, Review and Correction of Minutes <br />Mr. Prokasy moved to approve minutes of February 8, 1977. Mr. Zuraw- <br />ski seconded and motion passed. III. Building Department Requests <br />(a) Mr. Gundy distributed plans for Denny's Restaurant. Location is <br />east of the photomat and Chef Gene's - generally across from <br />Zayer and in front of Recreation Center. Ord. 64-113 regarding <br />construction materials was read by Mr. Gundy. Suggestion was <br />made that now there is Architectural Review Board the Ord.should <br />be abandoned or discarded. Plans are for ?,990 sq. ft. with 83 <br />parking spaces provided and 77 required. Ingress and egress and <br />parking plans were studied. Mr. Zurawski moved to forward plans <br />of Denny's Restaurant to Architectural Review Board with recom- <br />mendations as follows: <br />(a) the southwesternmost parking stall be eliminated so there <br />is longer storage for vehicles' ingress and egress from <br />the parking area; <br />(b) at the northerlymost parking spaces (753 and 752) the con- <br />tour lines are too steep; and <br />(c) eliminate the front 10 parking spaces and the 3 parking <br />spaces immediately in front of the building and relocate <br />them at rear of building and landscape area -where parking <br />spaces are to be eliminated. <br />Mr. Prokasy seconded and motion passed unanimously. <br />N. New Developtnents and !`?ubdivisions - No Items <br />V. Communications <br />Roger Clingman and Dick Kadar of Vienria Construction, Inc. appeared <br />before the Commission with plans for a new subdivision on east side <br />of Walter Rd., north of Lorain and south of Gessner. Eleven houses <br />are to front on Tnlalter Rd. Area is zoned B. After short discussion <br />Mr. Prokasy moved plans be submitted to Engineering Department for <br />consideration. Motion died for lack of a second. <br />VI• Committee Reports. <br />Mr. Nee reported committee had studied July, 1973 Regional Planning L - <br />Motorist Service District and made the following recommendations: <br />Page 9- TITLE 11 - CHAP'I'ER 1175 the word MOTOR be changed to MOTORIST. <br />Section 1175.03 PERMITTED USES should read between iords "District" and <br />"shall" add "shall be used, and buildings" and in the last line the word <br />"intended" changed to the word "maintainedrr.
