After discussion Mr. Zuraw$ki moved to refer back <br />to Architectural Review Board for consideration, particularly with <br />respect to base detail for columnso Motion died for lack of a secondo <br />Mr. Shur sai.d the detail for the base of the columns was not discussed <br />while he at•tended the meeting of the Architectural Review Board,He ex- <br />plained to Planning Commission members how the columns will be based <br />to withstand local weathero Mr. Nee moved to approve Great Northern <br />Shopping Center facia remodeling with exception of base condition of <br />the columns as shown in Section 2-2 Page 4 and to send back to Arcni- <br />tectural Review Board for recommendationa Mra Robeits seconded and <br />motion passed. <br />IV, New Developments and Subdivisions <br />(a) King's Court Subdivision - same as April 12 submittal except <br />for relocation of street to avoid necessit,y of vacating Cant- <br />erbury right of way. <br />Mr. Childs presented plans. Mr. Andreano was present before <br />the Commission. Lots #33 through 35 now conform. The right <br />of way through Canterbury can be considered at a later dateo <br />The length of one cul de sac (710 ft.) was discussed. Chair- <br />man Tischler questioned the desirability of placing residences <br />so close to golf courses with danger of balls damaging homes or <br />striking individualso T-type road ending on Lot #35 was suggest- <br />ed by Mr, Zurawskie Mr.. Tischler moved to retain King's Court <br />in committee and request a report from the Safety Director. Mr. <br />Roberts seconded and motion passed. <br />(b) Timber Trail Subdivision.- 123 Class B residential lots. Nodi- <br />fication of April 12 submittal to excl.ude residential platting <br />in limited industry area. <br />Engineer Childs distributed plans and noted modifications. <br />Hickory Lane is now joined with 308th Sto to make intersection. <br />Commissioners were asked to react to proposed subdivision. Mro <br />Roberts moved to reject the plan with the recommendation that <br />it be taken to Board of Zoning Appeals with regard to 80 ft. <br />frontage on Block E. Mro Zurawski seconded and motion passed. <br />(c) Groveland Garden Subdivision #2 - forming two parcels from four <br />existing parcels (Permanent Parcel Nos. 237-5-223 237-4-34, 237- <br />4-35., 237-4-36), located south of Lorain Rd. and East of Bentley <br />Dr. with frontage on both streets. <br />Mr. Childs distributed plans for racqet club for Parcel No. 2. <br />Nlr. RedingQr of Bay Village and Mrm.Andreano assembled before <br />the Commission. Approval of lot split_isbeing requested. Mr. <br />Childs explained,the three different zoning categories involv- <br />ed on Parcel Noo2. Mr. Andreano explained the plans. Mr. <br />Roberts moyed to change from four existing parcels to two par- <br />cels on Groveland Garden Subdivision #2. Mr. Zurawski second- <br />ed, and motion passed.
