, <br />? <br />? Planning Ccmmissiom 7-26-77. ? 2 - <br />(b) A Cluster Zoning Committee served by Messrs. Rafeld and Roberts. <br />(Report was read by Mr. Rafeld. Recommendation of the committee <br />`-? is to retain the present ordinance. Mr. Prokasy moved to ac- <br />cept the report in its entirety and to pend copies in full to <br />members of City Council. Mr. Nee seconded, and motion passed. <br />VTII. Old Business <br />(a) Law Director Gareau reported addition to Zoning Code to provide <br />for Motorist Service passed 1st reading of Council., public hear- <br />ing date to be set in September. <br />(b ) U-Store-It 9 24002 Lorain Rd. <br />Mr. Amsdell came before the Commission. Plans were displayed. <br />Changes in plans were explainedo After further discussion Mr. <br />Prokasy moved to approve U-Store-It plans with i=provements as <br />suggested by Architectural Review Board in its minutes of July <br />18, 1977 with exception of Item #8 to be amended as shown on <br />plan. Mr. Evanoff seconded, and motion passed. <br />(c) Court Club North <br />Mr. Childs distributed plans. Mr. Redinger showed improvements <br />as recommended by Architectural Review Board. Councilman Sarin- <br />ger and many adjoining property owners assembled before the Com- <br />mission. Questions regarding zoning, traffic, buffer strip and <br />easement area were asked by Mr. Borowsky, 4260 Bentley Dr., Mr. <br />Bringman, 4185 Be ntly Ilr., Mr . Francis Maher, 23784 Curtis Dr., <br />Mr. Geo. Lyford, 23808 curtis, Kay McCarthy, 23733 Curtis Dr., <br />John Talan, h338 Bently Dr. and Christine Gill, U39 Oak Lane and <br />Councilman Saringer. Planning Commission members pondered the le- <br />gality of the proposal. Law Director Gareau gave opinion the plan <br />does not meet the requirement of the Code regarding development of <br />property along Brookpark Rd. and Lorain Rde Mr. Redinger spoke <br />of expenses incurred, architectural, legal and purchase since Plan- <br />ning Commission approved the Groveland Subdivision April 26, 1977• <br />Nr. Prokasy moved, based upon ruling of Law Director Gareau, that <br />Planning Commission reject Court Club North as not a proper pro-- <br />posal before the Planning Commission. Yir. Roberts seconded, and <br />motion passede <br />IX. Adjournment - Mr. Prokasy moved to*excuse the absence of Pr. Zuraw- <br />ski. Mr. Evanoff seconded the motion. Roll Call on <br />motiona Messrs. Prokasy, Evanoff, Tischler, Roberts <br />, and Nee, aye; Mra Rafeld, nay. Motion passed. <br />Meeting adjourned at 10:00 p.m. <br />Dennis G.
