Mr. Roberts moved to approve Allen P. Sanders Subdivision on <br />north side of Bradley Rd..at County Line. N1r.. Evanoff se- <br />conded and motion passed... <br />(c) Laurell T,doods Fntrance Sign - Marcie Lane near pover Center <br />intersection. <br />Mr. 1cDermott distributed Iocation maps and letter of request <br />for the sign. There is no objection from Mr..Carnahan,Safety <br />Directoro Plan is similar to other subdivision signs. Sign <br />is to be set 10 ft. back from Dover Rd..sidewalk. Mr. Rafeld <br />moved to approve Laurell Voods entrance sign as presented.Mr. <br />Jvanoff seconded and motion passed. <br />(d) Johnson Doolittle Subdivision - IVorth side Lorain east of Bar- <br />ton Rd. - 2 sub lots <br />Mr. McDermott distributed location maps and drawings of the sub- <br />division. Mr. Johnson came before the Commissiono Subdivision <br />is entirely within commercial zoning - meets the codeo Mr. R.ob- <br />erts moved the Johnson Doolittle Subdivison on north side of Lo- <br />rain Rd. east of Barton Rd. be approved. Mr. Rafeld seconded <br />and motion passed. <br />(e) North Olmsted City and Board of Education Spruce School Site <br />? Subdivision - East off Sterans Rd. and South of Park Ridge <br />Subdivision - 2 sub lots. <br />Mr. McDermott distributed location maps and site plans. Mr. <br />McDermott gave history of the land and its development - 5 <br />parcels with 2 owners - being combined for conveyance. Reso- <br />lution 73-37, Page 3 taas read. Vehicular access easement to <br />Sub Lot #2 was shown on plan. Plat was certified by the State <br />of Ohio. Mr. Rafeld moved to accept the subdivision as sub- <br />mitted. Mr. Roberts seconded and motion passedo <br />(f) Consideration of City's acquiring property abutting Spruce <br />School Site Subdivison (Item e above) for recreational pur- <br />poses - preliminary discussion only. <br />Mr. NlcDermott distributed location maps and plats showing the <br />site. Plan was initiated by Ma,,ror Christman and Fngineer <br />Childs. Authorization to negotiate is neededv Council and <br />Recreation Commission need to approve. Mr. Rafeld moved to <br />recommend to pass to Council plan for acquiring property a- <br />butting Spruce School Site.. NIr. Ro.berts seconded and motion <br />passed.. <br />(g) 0lmsted Olympic Skate Center Subdivision - South side of Zo- <br />rain Rd-.. east of Barton Rd. - 2 sub lotso <br />? Mre L. Seuffert and Mr. R.. Peterson assembled before the Com- <br />mission. Topographic survey of plat and location maps were <br />distributed by Mr. McDermott. Flan is to make 2 sub lots <br />out of 3. Sub Lot #l does no-t conform to the code. Plans
